July Update

We've had a busy summer so far. I was in Orlando on my birthday to watch my south florida girls compete and take class at convention. Everyone was wonderful (as usual), lots of overall awards, a few scholarships and a few more girls who should have gotten scholarships! Katie, Janell and I had lots of fun hanging out, going to the pool and making some kick ass bracelets to sneak into convention (one of our best ideas EVER!!!). I drove back up to Tally the night of my birthday and that weekend Nick and I bought a truck because the lease on his car was up. It's a 2008, in really good condition and I like it because when we drove down to Hollywood the next weekend we didn't have to take my car! We went down for Lissette's wedding which was beautiful! I got to see one of my best friends get married (finally!) and brush up on my spanish at the same time...you really can't go wrong. We saw Harry Potter with the whole fam-damily (minus mom) while we were there. It was good, nothing compared to the book, but we were prepared for that. Anyway, the dogs handled the trip real well. They slept lined up down my back while I was sleeping in the back seat on the way down. If I wake up in time tomorrow I'm going to try to take pictures of them outside on my freshly mowed lawn (I think Nick has found his new talent!).
